The Ball-In-Sock Effect

Often you come across ingenious dog toys, by the best of designers. The gizmos, the gadgets, built for strength, built for softness, for stimulation, for fetch. Often, these toys are more like a rental. Take off tags, give to dog, take out a timer and watch your dog destroy them with love, in record time, every time.

I'm the same way with a bag of Smartfood baby carrots.

Herein lies the moment of insight:

Dog loves Ball.
Dog loves Plush.
Dog Loves Chewing.
Dog loves Tugging.
Dog loves the Fetch.

Place Ball in Sock.
Throw Ball-In-Sock.
Dog falls in love.

Endless hours of enjoyment ending up in a puppysleep coma, the one where they nap with a half smile on their face as if spooning with the memory of their joyful toy destruction.

Sometimes the simplest thing creates the best playtime outlet. Look no further than your sock drawer.

Live and Let Fetch.
